Summary:

Seeking a highly motivated mental health professional or psychologist to join a clinical research team focused on psychiatric and neurological conditions. This full-time position involves conducting structured clinical interviews, diagnostic evaluations, and neuropsychological assessments to support clinical trials. The role is ideal for individuals with a background in psychiatry, neurology, or Alzheimer’s Disease, and offers opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic research environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform structured clinical interviews and diagnostic evaluations for participants in psychiatry and neurology clinical trials.
  • Administer neuropsychological assessments and standardized rating scales to evaluate a range of psychiatric and neurological symptoms.
  • Assess and monitor clinical changes in conditions such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, ADHD, substance use disorders, and Alzheimer’s disease.
  • Determine participant eligibility for clinical trials through comprehensive assessments and prescreening activities.
  • Maintain high inter-rater reliability and strictly follow standardized assessment protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory standards in all research activities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate smooth study execution and adherence to study protocols.
  • Actively seek feedback, demonstrate enthusiasm for learning new assessments, and work effectively with diverse populations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure or license-eligibility to practice in a psychology-related role.
  • Clinical or research experience in psychiatry, neurology, or Alzheimer’s Disease is highly encouraged.
  • Prior research experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of data quality and protocol compliance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new assessment tools and methodologies.
