Job Title: Business Development Manager – Licensing

Summary:
Seeking a dynamic professional to drive licensing and commercialization of antibody assets across multiple therapeutic areas. This role blends scientific expertise with business acumen to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic business development opportunities in the biotechnology sector.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish external opportunities for out-licensing, co-development, and structured transactions in the biotechnology sector.
- Develop and present comprehensive business cases for prioritized external opportunities, including robust analyses, key assumptions, and risk assessments.
- Independently initiate and lead presentations of external business opportunities to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence and alliance management, collaborating with R&D, clinical, regulatory, operations, and finance teams.
- Oversee business development operations, including proposal development, negotiations, deal closure, and ongoing alliance management.
- Contribute to the ongoing definition and refinement of business development and licensing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Represent the organization at industry, investor, and partnering conferences, building and maintaining relationships with key industry participants.
- Act as a primary contact for business development matters, ensuring effective communication and reporting to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in pharmacology, immunology, cancer biology, or a related biomedical science field.
- Extensive background in antibody drug discovery, including target validation and hit-to-lead optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex biological data and translate findings into compelling therapeutic and licensing narratives.
- Familiarity with antibody modalities such as monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
- Strong strategic thinking skills to align scientific capabilities with partner pipeline needs.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English to facilitate global R&D and business communications.
