Job Title: Quality Control Data Analyst

Work Location: Middlesex County, New Jersey

Summary:

The Quality Control Data Analyst, Raw Materials, is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and maintaining raw material specification data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position involves analyzing supplier documentation, managing data in internal systems, and supporting customer requests through clear and accurate data interpretation.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and accurately enter raw material specification data, including key quality attributes, into internal systems.
  • Analyze technical documentation from suppliers to extract and validate relevant Quality Control information.
  • Maintain up-to-date raw material data in business systems to support compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Respond to internal and external customer requests by providing clear and timely interpretation of raw material quality data.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to obtain and reconcile raw material information as needed.
  • Identify and escalate data discrepancies or missing information to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Utilize analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities and ensure data quality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Quality Control team and organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Chemistry, or a science and data analysis background.
  • Related industry experience in food, flavor, fragrance, or cosmetic raw materials is preferred.
  • Experience with technical and quality data review, interpretation, and management.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for raw material documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems; experience with PLM or data management platforms preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and build effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated project management and risk assessment experience.
  • Cross-functional team experience.
