Job Title: Microbiome Kit Supervisor

Summary:
Lead and supervise the assembly and quality control of microbiome sample collection kits, ensuring production goals, compliance, and high standards are consistently met in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support team members involved in microbiome kit assembly, providing training, guidance, and feedback to maintain high performance and adherence to procedures.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved efficiently.
- Oversee the accurate assembly, labeling, and packaging of microbiome sample collection kits according to detailed specifications.
- Perform and review quality control checks on assembled kits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and address trends in defects or inconsistencies, implementing corrective actions and process improvements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of kit assembly, inventory usage, quality control checks, and production issues, ensuring documentation is audit-ready.
- Collaborate with inventory and production teams to track materials, anticipate supply needs, and minimize shortages or waste.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly and support a positive customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative production or operations environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce standardized procedures.
- Organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including repetitive motions, standing for extended periods, and lifting items over 30 lbs.
- Supervisory or team lead experience in assembly, manufacturing, or laboratory operations preferred.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and compliance requirements preferred.
- Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) and basic computer skills preferred.
- Interest in microbiology, microbiome research, health sciences, or diagnostics preferred.
