Job Title: Sr. Imaging Engineer

Summary:
The Sr. Imaging Engineer is responsible for overseeing and directing imaging equipment operations, including installation, maintenance, and calibration of complex imaging systems. This role involves developing operational strategies, collaborating with management, and ensuring compliance with regulations while providing technical support and training to staff.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect advanced imaging equipment and systems with minimal supervision.
- Develop and implement operational strategies for imaging services, including budget planning and capital utilization.
- Collaborate with management to create and present imaging solutions and review financial and vendor-related aspects.
- Coordinate with operations to assess and address ongoing operational needs and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
- Advise on and implement new imaging departments, equipment, and procedures during client onboarding processes.
- Set departmental objectives and goals, and ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Lead and document activities of subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality service delivery and oversee special projects.
- Train and mentor staff in imaging solutions, provide technical assistance, and support professional development within the team.
Qualifications:
- Experience with X-ray, MRI, and CT imaging equipment required.
- Background in engineering, preferably with a focus on medical imaging systems.
- Demonstrated ability to repair, install, and maintain complex imaging equipment independently.
- Strong skills in developing operational strategies and managing budgets.
- Experience collaborating with management and presenting technical solutions.
- Ability to train and mentor staff in imaging operations and reporting.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to various sites as needed.
- Knowledge of compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
