Job Title: Scientist I/II, LNP Formulations

Summary:
Seeking a Scientist I/II specializing in Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) Formulations to lead the design, execution, and analysis of experiments for next-generation LNP systems. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and characterizing LNPs for nucleic acid delivery in a dynamic research setting.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze experiments using DOE approaches to create and optimize innovative LNP formulations.
- Drive formulation innovation by selecting lipids, optimizing compositions, and evaluating process parameters.
- Conduct LNP screening and characterization, assessing size, PDI, encapsulation efficiency, stability, and performance.
- Utilize analytical and statistical methods to interpret complex data and inform formulation strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance research and development programs.
- Document experiments thoroughly and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot formulation issues and enhance experimental workflows for continuous improvement.
- Support scale-up processes and technology transfer activities as required.
Qualifications:
- PhD or MS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with LNP formulation development and optimization.
- Expertise in DOE methodologies and statistical experimental design.
- Proficiency in LNP screening and analytical techniques such as DLS, encapsulation assays, stability studies, and physicochemical characterization.
- Strong understanding of lipid-based delivery systems and formulation science.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and capability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills for presenting data and influencing technical decisions.
