2nd Shift Production Supervisor
Work Location: Rowan County, North Carolina
Summary:
Seeking a skilled supervisor to oversee production operations, ensure quality and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement on the 2nd shift. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and monitor production staff, assigning daily tasks and ensuring adherence to schedules and safety protocols.
- Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with documentation requirements for regulated facilities.
- Oversee equipment functionality, coordinate with maintenance, and perform basic machine adjustments as needed.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
- Promote and uphold 5S standards, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and drive process improvements that reduce waste and inefficiencies.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with cGMP and FDA requirements, maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work long hours and stand for extended periods (10-hour shifts).
- Experience with production equipment and ability to coordinate with maintenance staff.
- Ability to follow directions and maintain focus on safety and quality standards.
- cGMP certification and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
