Technical Operator

Summary:
The Technical Operator is responsible for supporting the development and execution of manufacturing and packaging processes for specialized drug delivery therapeutic products. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure process efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement within a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and modify processes for drug delivery product manufacturing and packaging.
- Oversee and monitor packaging processes, spending significant time on the line to ensure quality and compliance.
- Execute technical tasks on the packaging line, including experimental and validation protocols in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Design and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and generate reports with actionable recommendations.
- Support the creation and implementation of cleaning processes and changeover requirements for production lines.
- Develop and maintain documentation to support product development and commercial production activities.
- Lead and participate in problem-solving initiatives, deviation investigations, and implementation of preventative actions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and participate in training and equipment operation support.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a technical field or 5-10 years of mechanical/maintenance experience with packaging equipment.
- Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Ability to learn and apply technical skills in areas such as LEAN manufacturing, design control, validation, and experimental design.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and statistical software packages.
- Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills; able to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to work off-shift hours and travel up to 25% as needed to support business requirements.
- Ability to work safely in environments with moderate risks, including use of personal protective equipment as required.
- Effective team player with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
