Technical Operator

Work Location: York County, Pennsylvania

Summary:

The Technical Operator is responsible for supporting the development and execution of manufacturing and packaging processes for specialized drug delivery therapeutic products. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure process efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and modify processes for drug delivery product manufacturing and packaging.
  • Oversee and monitor packaging processes, spending significant time on the line to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Execute technical tasks on the packaging line, including experimental and validation protocols in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Design and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and generate reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Support the creation and implementation of cleaning processes and changeover requirements for production lines.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support product development and commercial production activities.
  • Lead and participate in problem-solving initiatives, deviation investigations, and implementation of preventative actions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and participate in training and equipment operation support.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field or 5-10 years of mechanical/maintenance experience with packaging equipment.
  • Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical skills in areas such as LEAN manufacturing, design control, validation, and experimental design.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and statistical software packages.
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills; able to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work off-shift hours and travel up to 25% as needed to support business requirements.
  • Ability to work safely in environments with moderate risks, including use of personal protective equipment as required.
  • Effective team player with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
