Summary:

The Senior Associate, Supply Chain is responsible for managing global inventory and logistics to ensure a continuous supply of critical components for development, technology transfer, and drug product manufacturing. This role emphasizes supplier quality, change control, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and process global inventory reports, organizing both domestic and international shipments of critical components to manufacturing sites.
• Oversee the creation and management of purchase orders, invoice approvals, and budget tracking for supply chain activities.
• Maintain and update inventory tracking tools, accounting for forecasts, usage, lead times, expiries, and stock levels.
• Lead change management processes for supplier and component changes, collaborating with subject matter experts to assess impact and close change controls efficiently.
• Analyze inventory and forecast data to identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and develop project plans for issue resolution.
• Manage supplier operations, including documentation review, complaint investigations, and risk assessments related to critical components.
• Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers, manage associated change controls, and lead development projects with suppliers as needed.
• Facilitate supply chain discussions across teams, support supplier quality management, and monitor the budget for critical component supply chain activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in science or supply chain related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of supply chain experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with change control and change management processes, ideally within a supplier quality or QMS environment.
• Experience with Veeva Vault QMS is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Project, and Access.
• Knowledge of supplier and inventory management, and technical understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
