Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)

Work Location: Rankin County, MS

Summary:

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will play a key role in supporting psychiatric and neurological clinical trials, ensuring protocol compliance, participant safety, and high-quality data collection. The position emphasizes patient recruitment and involves collaboration with Principal Investigators and the study team across a diverse portfolio of CNS-focused studies.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of clinical trial visits, including participant screening, enrollment, and follow-up assessments.
  • Administer psychiatric assessments and rating scales according to study protocols, with training provided as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely source documentation and case report forms for all study activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), IRB requirements, and study protocols.
  • Manage the informed consent process and provide clear communication to study participants.
  • Oversee study supplies, drug accountability, and laboratory kit processing to support trial operations.
  • Facilitate effective communication with sponsors, clinical research associates, and monitors during site visits.
  • Support patient recruitment and retention efforts, and maintain regulatory documentation in preparation for audits and monitoring visits.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, Clinical Research Associate, or in a related clinical or psychiatric role preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in health science, nursing, or a related field, or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Familiarity with CNS or psychiatric trial populations is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with vulnerable patient populations.
  • CCRC certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Comfortable using electronic data capture (EDC) systems and completing case report forms.
