Job Title: Production Supervisor

Work Location: Providence County, Rhode Island

Summary:

Oversee daily operations within the production department, focusing on employee management, production scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to quality standards and drive best manufacturing practices through effective leadership and process optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage production staff, including setting expectations, coaching, training, and handling disciplinary actions.
• Plan and monitor production schedules, labor allocation, and workflow to meet operational goals.
• Implement and enforce systems, policies, and procedures to maintain efficient production processes.
• Drive continuous improvement activities, including cost reduction and process optimization initiatives.
• Monitor and report on daily production output, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Analyze production data, establish KPIs, and facilitate cross-functional communication to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing, preferably within a regulated or medical device industry.
• Minimum of 7 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven ability to manage process improvements and implement operational changes.
• Strong background in department scheduling and production planning.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and drive performance improvements.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
