Process Supervisor
Work Location: Ocean County, New Jersey
Summary:
Seeking a Process Supervisor with strong leadership, planning, and process improvement skills to oversee production operations, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production operations, ensuring adherence to cGMP and GDP requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with planning and support teams to develop and execute short-term schedules aligned with forecasts and operational needs.
- Coordinate closely with shift supervisors and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and execution of production plans.
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze production data, and drive accountability for meeting established goals related to throughput, downtime, and quality events.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost savings initiatives.
- Support investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions, ensuring thorough documentation and data integrity.
- Prepare and deliver visual presentations and reports for group discussions, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Remain flexible to support team needs, including shift coverage and escalation of events, while ensuring adequate staffing and support for upcoming jobs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Life Sciences or a related industry.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and project management skills.
- Strong technical writing, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, and demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative.
- Proficient in personal computer use and navigating enterprise systems.
- Outstanding teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to generate, interpret, and present metrics and data visually.
- BS in Science or Engineering preferred.
