Job Title: HVAC Technician

Work Location: Ramsey County, New Jersey

Summary:

Seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and service commercial and industrial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and service HVAC equipment, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
• Conduct tests and analyze data to verify equipment functionality and recommend improvements for reliability.
• Interpret and understand control operations and sequences for various HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Lead teams, providing training and coaching to apprentices and co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrate a strong customer service attitude in all interactions.
• Follow all safety standards, including NFPA 70e and Lockout Tag Out procedures.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience working daily on commercial or industrial HVAC equipment and systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, safety policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including the basic refrigeration cycle and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and deciphering electrical schematics.
• Pipefitting skills with both black pipe and copper materials.
• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of Trade School or HVAC Apprenticeship Program preferred.
• EPA 608 certification (Type II or Universal) required.
