Work Location: Mecklenburg County, NC

Summary:

The Sample Center Technician is responsible for supporting daily operations within the Sample Center, focusing on inventory management, chemical sample preparation, and packaging and shipping to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and fulfill sample requests by receiving orders, labeling chemical jars, and preparing shipments using computer systems.
• Maintain adequate inventory of filled jars and ensure supplies such as boxes and packing materials are stocked.
• Organize and manage the Sample Center to support efficient workflow and storage.
• Ensure the workplace remains clean and organized to meet safety and quality standards for chemical handling and packaging.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures for chemical and package handling at all times.
• Monitor and replenish supply levels for all necessary materials and equipment.
• Review and evaluate customer leads for regions within the US and Canada.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experience with chemical handling.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EFFCI standards preferred.
• Understanding of current OSHA/process safety practices and procedures preferred.
• Associate degree (2-year) in a related field preferred.
